Termtime’s Guide To The Summer Holidays

Exams are over and it's time to relax. Hopefully, the sun will be shining and most of you have at least 6 weeks of no school! The question is what to do in those 6 weeks? If you're lucky you may be going on a family vacation. If not don't worry there's still plenty to do.

To help you out Termtime has come up with a list of '10 things to do this summer.' Even if you've got something planned still take a look because you never know there may be a few hours one day where you find yourself 'bored' with nothing to do. If you have nothing planned then Termtime will be very helpful to you! We can offer you new and exciting things to try and hopefully make your summer as fun and as memorable as possible.

If you have done one of our suggestions, why not get in touch with us and let us know how it went. We want to know if you enjoyed it and whether you would do it again. How about filming part of your activity and sending it in? You could even make your own suggestions of things to do, just email us here or find us on Facebook, MySpace and Bebo - just look up 'Term Time' and we should be there!

Go backyard camping.
If your parents don't fancy you camping in the nearby field then call your pals, pitch a tent, grab some sleeping bags, and head out your back door. Maybe you'll have to forget about the campfire but you can still sing the traditional campfire songs and tell stories! Have fun with your friends sleeping under the stars-while having peace of mind that the shower and toilet are just steps away!

Have a water fight.
Get all your pals together, and designate teams. Throw on some old clothes ready to be soaked then grab your water guns, water balloons, buckets, hoses, whatever else you've got and you're ready to go. You're never too young or old to run around soaking one another!

Go to the nearest park and have a picnic.
Nothing beats chilling out with your friends and munching on your favorite snacks. Ask around and see if someone has a portable radio or maybe some iPod speakers. Pick a good spot in the park lay out a picnic blanket and start catching the rays!

Make a summer scrapbook.
Include everything-even the little stuff. The price tag from your favorite summer buy, cinema tickets, concert tickets, postcards from vacations, pictures of you and your friends, sweet wrappers, anything that reminds you of your best summer ever! Scrapbooks are cheap and can be purchased from most stationary stores.

Visit various theme parks around the UK.
Most theme parks will have special summer offers but get there early to avoid waiting long in ques. If possible we suggest you buy fast lane passes during peak season. Our top 5 theme parks are;
