  • Take a trip to your local cinema and lose yourself in a film. There are loads of great movies on over the holiday period - something for everyone! If you have an opinion on the film you saw and you would like to do a ‘mini review’, and then email it to us at contact@termtime.com and we will put it up on our website! • Go Ice Skating! This is such a fun activity whether you are a beginner or a pro! Make sure that you wrap up in warm clothes - hat, gloves, scarf and thick socks are an essential. Don’t worry if you have never done it before or you are very clumsy, there are stewards on the rink to help you out if you fall.

  • Visit London! Whether you live nearby or not, London is one of the best cities in the world and there is something to do for everybody! If you live nearby, you will be familiar with the local train, bus and underground links. If you are travelling from around the country, you could travel on the Megabus where journeys cost as little as £1. If this is full up, check out the local bus and train routes for some Easter deals.

  • Start your own band! If you have rhythm, why don’t you consider starting a band and make some sweet sweet music? Whether you make an original song or do a cover, you will have great fun! You could even film a ‘video’ and send it into Termtime and we will put it up on www.termtime.com

If you can’t play a musical instrument, it might be a great time to learn one over the Easter holidays! Why don’t you try a piano, flute, trumpet, guitar or a drum lesson! You might even enjoy it!

  • Get creative! This can mean anything from drawing a picture, to making your own clothes to making up a new dance routine! For a bit of guidance you could always join a local stage school where you can learn dance and drama skills. You will make new friends and it will really help build your confidence! Why not give it a go, you have nothing to lose!

Being creative could even mean designing your own Easter eggs! Loads of supermarkets are selling make-your-own Easter egg packs so you can decorate your yummy chocolate! And the best bit... you get to eat it at the end!

  • Get cooking! It’s not as difficult as it looks and there are loads of recipe books out there to take you through each stage, step-by-step! It is much healthier than buying a take-away and very rewarding when you get to eat it at the end!
