The Termtime Youth Debate

What do you get when you gather 12 young people aged 11-16 from across the region, 2 presenters and a live Television Studio packed with camera operators, sound technicians and directors? Well in our case you get the Termtime Youth Debate - and WOW what a special debate it turned out to be.

Last year, Termtime’s main aim was to establish the depth and scale of the problems and issues affecting young people today.

Bullying, Careers, Pressure, Exam Stress, Violent Crime and Media Stereotypes were amongst the most common issues that emerged from the countless interviews with school councils and youth groups.
