As a boy I was confused and full of fear, different from the crowd and very alone in the world. Through self determination and self awareness, I began to accept my individuality and from a very young age I made a conscious decision to change the direction of my life, whatever the consequences!
Looking back, like most kids, simple encouragement and support and having an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals would have given me the courage and confidence which I only came to possess much later in my life. This is why I believe encouragement, self-worth and self-awareness, respect and the early recognition of an individual’s potential is absolutely fundamental in the journey from childhood to adulthood, and why I created Termtime.
Termtime aims to relieve young people of the stresses that surround them, replacing negative feelings with confidence and purpose, allowing a healthier vibrancy and giving them the confidence and self-belief to follow their instincts and make positive decisions about how they want to live or enhance their lives.
Every parent’s nightmare is to find that their son or daughter feels so alone and unhappy that extreme measures such as drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, depression and suicide is the only way to solve their problems. Communication is paramount, but as a parent myself if I could change the society my child is entering I would... I believe that all of us would if we could... and I believe we can!

At Termtime we are focused on working together with youth organisations and agencies to promote dependable, trustworthy and reliable support for young people aged 11-16. Packaged in a user-friendly language, Termtime seeks to identify effective access routes to which our Termtime team can signpost young people enabling them to receive the appropriate help and support they need.
Termtime will assess the depth and scale of the problems and issues affecting young people in order to connect, understand, relate and deliver our campaign for change. Termtime has been funded and created to facilitate this through a variety of media channels, events and programmes.
