According to a new survey, three quarters of young people said that they couldn’t live without the internet.

The study was taken out by online charity YouthNet. They interviewd people aged between 16 and 24 to find out a bit more about their internet habits.

Four fifths of the respondents said that they sued the internet to look for advice because many of the answers to their queries could be found online and so there was no need to talk to someone face-to-face.

Professor Michael Hulme, who carried out the research, said the internet was “part of the fabric” of young people’s worlds because they had grown up with the technology.
