A nine-year-old schoolgirl has won a competition to design a 50 pence piece, celebrating the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Florence Jackson beat thousands of other entries to win the Blue Peter competition and soon her design will be in peoples pockets all over the UK.
Her winning design is of a high jump and will be one of 29 new designs to commemorate the event.
Florence said: “It was amazing to see my picture turned into a coin. I can’t wait to see it in my pocket money.”
Florence is the youngest person – and the first child - to design a UK coin.
Look out for her 50p design, which will be in circulation next year.
