Boyzone star Stephen Gately tragically died at his home in Majorca, Spain, in Saturday.
His closest friends and family believe that his death was an accident.
A post-mortem, which helps doctors find out how he dies, will be carried out later this week.
Stephen’s fellow band members flew out to Majorca yesterday. A statement from the band said: We have shared such wonderful times together over the years and were all looking forward to sharing many more.
“We love you and will miss you forever.”
They described Stephen as their “friend and brother”.
Stephen was on holiday in Majorca with his partner Andy Cowells when he died.
The Spanish police that the circumstances of his death were not suspicious, but they are yet to find out the exact cause of death.
Stephen Gately was a member of one of Britain’s biggest boy bands, Boyzone, during the 1990’s.
They had loads of hits, including six UK number one singles and 16 top five songs.
In 2000, Stephen was one of the first stars to openly admit that he was gay and that he had a boyfriend.
During the past couple of years Stephen had been concentrating on a nuber of solo projects, including starring in West End musicals and ITV’s Dancing On Ice, before the boys got back together again in 2007 for a comeback tour.
