Who ever heard of a Bengal tiger transform into a frightened overgrown cat?
Well the people of Somerset zoo have.
The tiger, aged two named Tanvir, who was climbing the new climbing frame got to the top of the five–metre wooden tower at the Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm became terrified once at the top and refused to come down.
Tanvir spent 24 hours on the top of the platform, still petrified, but finally he became very hungry and climbed back down.
Spokesman of the zoo Samantha Cordrey claimed “He’s quite a mischievous little tiger and yesterday he went up his tower for the first time. There’s a smaller tower and even that took him an hour to get down from, so he’s a bit of a scaredy cat.”
