Andy and his brother Jamie have bought a part of the Stirling Albion football club via the ‘BuyStirlingAlbion’ campaign, which attempts to get fans to get together and buy the club from its current owner.

At the moment, supporters can buy stakes in the club for £40 each, but a total of £800,000 is needed to take over the club.

Andy’s granddad, Roy Erskine, 76, played for the team in the 1950’s.

He said: “I spoke to Jamie and told him what was going on with the BuyStirlingAlbion campaign and he immediately called Andy and they both were happy to lend their support to this important community project.”
